English Town Catholics – from the Relief Acts to the Restoration of the Hierarchy. On Saturday October 13, 2018, at Newman University there will be a meeting of historians working in this field. Professor Mullet of Lancaster University will preside and talk about Welsh town Catholics and other presentations will include Liverpool, Newcastle on Tyne, the West Midlands.
